I can't believe it

Shock. Horror.  It's been five months since I last posted.
That's what happens when you're writing five mornings a week for four months. (I started in early January.)  However, I am happy to report that said manuscript is done and dusted for the moment, and entered into the Harper Collins Australia Banjo Prize. Sigh of relief.  I set myself the task of finishing the ms in time, and I did it. Cue clapping.

In the meantime, thanks to the kind and gorgeous folks at Verity La a piece of my writing about my plastic surgeon - hospital lit, anyone? - was published online. You can go here to read it.

In the meantime, I also wrote a poem about a fly - ha ha - which I might share next time.

In the meantime, I'm at a loss to know what kind of image to post here since I am convinced no-one wants to see my bandaged and swollen forehead!  So ... flowers, which are always beautiful.
